Description: This is a vintage Robeson Shur edge Big Coke bottle pattern #616118 single blade with great bone handles. It measures 5-1/4" closed. The blade tang is stamped, Robeson Shur edge U.S.A. The blade is stamped on the other side #616118 clearly. It was made between 1922 and 1940. The blade is full and does have some scratches. The blade has a long match strike pull and a 2" swedge or false edge on the top spine. It also has good hard snap, like a big bear trap with a hard locking 90-degree 1/2 stop and sits right in both the open and closed positions, tight and right! The handle scales are beautiful matching worm groove bone with absolutely no cracks or chips and with brass liners and brass pins. It has a beautiful nickel silver pinned bowtie shield. It has nice front and rear bolsters with no dings and a lanyard hole. This is a very rare Robeson Shur edge and great pattern that is tight and right and another one that come from a large 60-year 3 generation collection.
