Description: Apparently a surveyor's transit is made of metals for accuracy. That would make this some kind of builder's level or a farmer's ditch level? There is faded writing on the side but I'm unable to make it out. I have no idea it's age. If you're interested I also have the tripod for this. It basically looks to me like 3 old shovel handles meeting at a steel receiver which accepts this unit. After shipping cost and materials the tripod alone will cost $100, message me and I will take some pictures for you. Good used working condition.
