Description: This knife needs a good cleaning with some polishing compound. Having said that, I am not the guy you want cleaning this rare knife for you 😅 The”dot” system was implemented in the 70s, with this knife being one of the first ever to use the system. The one dot on each side signify that the knife was made between 1974 and 1980. The blade is in terrific shape. The wood of the handle also looks terrific. The handle does have a few small pings (I had a hard time getting them to show up in pictures, I used the magnifying lamp to try to show them but they are so small it’s tricky to see even then) in the metal, but a quick cleaning will absolutely make this knife stand out. The handle is monogrammed with the initials “SDJ”, so bonus points if your initials or the initials of the person you intend to gift this knife to match! The original leather sheath is included and does have cosmetic wear, but is absolutely functionally perfect with no rips, tears, or brittleness.
