ITEM: RAREBROWN & BIGELOW ADVERTISING PIECE FEATURING GIL ELVGREN PIN-UP ART FROM THE 1940's OR 50's. Up for auction is an advertising piece featuring his art made for National Auto Supply Co. This piece is a 5 3/8" X 7" fold-out booklet that contains five pin-up photos. The cover of the booklet is called "Yuletide Forecast" and includes the teaser "A year-end analysis briefly summarized in round figures". Apparently this was a series since it also includes "Vol. XII" on the front cover. Printed by Brown & Bigelow, St. Paul, Minn., USA." The first photo is 6 1/2" X 5". The second and third photos are also 6 1/2" by 5". The fourth photo folds out to 13" X 10". The fifth and final photo folds out to 20" X 13". All five photos contain the Elvgren script signature.
