Generally the males are slightly more orange than the females. The females however have a thicker, more pronounced vein pattern (the black lines) and many more white dots at the edge of the wings so they are equally beautiful in their own way. Pictured above is the male. Origin: Found worldwide. Framed in the U.S. and all specimens are imported legally according to U.S. Fish and Wildlife regulations. Butterfly Utopia has been framing butterflies and shipping them since 2001! About Riker Mounts: Cotton filled chipboard frames with a glass top and hanger on back. The butterflies are not glued, they are gently pressed against the glass by the cotton. Riker mounts are not sealed and can be easily opened to extract or reposition the butterflies by removing 2-4 pins.
