This particular slide projector model made for K-Mart did not contain a slide tray2. Both the solenoid coupling (which always breaks with age) and the remote focus gears (also a guaranteed failure at this age) were both replaced3. Projector was tested using a compatible slide tray and was found to work great, easily moving both forwards & backwards (tray not included)4. The remote was tested and was found to be fully functional including forward, reverse, and focus actions.5. The focus motor is a little noisy, but it works. 6. The three main rotating bits, the motor, the fan, & the worm gear inside were lubricated. 7. The machine makes a low mechanical hum when running, but nothing out of the ordinary and not concerning. The noise reduces as the unit warms from the heat created by the projecting lamp.8. The solenoid stroke was calibrated9. The optics were cleaned10. Accumulated internal dusts and debris were removed, especially in and around the cooling fan, its vanes, and the exhaust grill11. The original box is in great condition mechanically, but has some stickers and writing on it, and it’s a bit dingy.12. The foam pieces inserted between the original box and the unit are not the original ones and can be discarded if desiredIncluded Items.
