Description: Original 11"x 17" Rick Griffin poster created in 1972 for an art show along with fellow artist Victor Moscoso. The show was titled Rick Griffin - Victor Moscoso: the California Poster and Comix Renaissance and was held at the University of Cincinnati. The image used on the poster is titled 'Cosmic Surfer' and was created in 1970 for his 'Man From Utopia' underground comic book. Condition: Excellent. Please note yellowing on bottom half of poster. Ding on lower left corner. See photos. I acquired this poster directly from Rick Griffin when I visited him at his home in Southern California in 1986. Having been an admirer of his artwork since I purchased the Grateful Dead's Aoxomoxoa lp at the time of its release, it was a pleasure to spend a few hours with him and his wife, Ida.
