"ROSS LONDON" logo and "Made in England"were engraved on the barrel. On original round thick metal lens board. For measurements, see pictures.Rear threads diameter: ~ 67 mmDiameter of the lensboard: ~158 mm Serial #: 197791 (both on the front and the back, see pictures)So the lens is pre-1947. (previous owner added a tape around the barrel for f numbers to be more easily seen when the lens is mounted on the camera; if you don't need it you can remove it) A Canon AE-1 camera was put side by side to show the size of the item.
