Two Clip blades, one large, one small; and the Pen blade. The blades close in the customary Whittler fashion with the larger blade nestled between the two smaller blades . . . and the equally unusual split backspring is clearly visible in one picture. The blades open firmly, but nicely, especially for a Whittler, which can sometimes be a little stiff to open due to the shortness of two of the blades, i.e., little leverage. They close with a snap. They are extremely sharp right out of the box. Old style shield badge, "Sheriff's Badge". Yellow, smooth, durable, handles. Years ago, many pocket knives were yellow. Guess why?
