The language of the 1928 Book of Common Prayer truly is remarkable and worthy of at least investigation for those desiring to enrich their life in prayer and worship. The typeface is highly readable, especially considering its size. This is aided by superior paper quality that what you will find in modern editions. The pictures should make this clear. I was struck by how white the paper was. It has beautiful page edge gilding virtually free from scratches and remains in great condition overall. I has an inscription on a free end page and a single name on a presentation page. It is a beautiful edition with flexible, genuine leather and the binding is virtually free from abrasions.
