Description: SeelöweThe German Invasion of Britain 1940Historical Simulation War Game SPI (1974) In the summer of 1940 the British Isles lay vulnerable to invasion by Germany. Of course, the invasion was never attempted, but it is believed that plans for a possible cross-channel effort, code-named Seelöwe (German for Sealion) were drawn up. The game explores three basic scenarios which illustrate the three most probable "what-ifs". Game is complete and contained in a sturdy plastic tray, with compartments specially designed to hold the playing pieces. Good used condition. Plastic tray is sound, with no serious damage. Map, booklets, charts etc have no serious rips or creases. Counters in good condition. One original counter missing, which has been replaced with a home-printed replacement, so game is effectively 100% complete. See photos - all photos show actual item.
