Description: DescriptionSet of 2 Antique LIMOGES Pharmacy Pot Apothecary Jar Porcelain OPIUM and Horses A lovely set of 2 porcelain pharmacy jars. The large jar has a 'Opium' label and was made Limoges. The smaller one has a mythological design with horses and a figure, probably depicting Zeus. The large jar is marked with a Limoges mark on the bottom, the smaller one says on the bottom that it was made for the Aguettant laboratory, located in Lyon. Both porcelain pots have lovely gold gilt details.They were probably made around 1930-1950. Made in France.Dimensions:Height large pot: about 6 inch or 15.5 cmHeight smaller pot: about 6 inch or 12.8 cm Condition: Good condition. There are no chips, cracks or restores on the large opium pot, there is a tiny superficial chip on the edge of the smaller pot. See the photos. *Flower in the first photo is not included.
