Description: Antique Pressed Crystal clear Glass Buttons- Pre WWII ” This auction is for a 4 Fabulous European antique glass buttons. These exquisite pressed glass buttons are such treasures. This design has a concave center. They have also been under painted with a Transparent Color that adds to the whimsical look. They are not washable as the color will come off. Check out my store for the other colors that are available. These buttons are 3/4 inches across and are self shank. These have never been used or been in circulation before. I have sewn the buttons to a card that has been reproduced from the same era. These buttons were originally manufactured for the Haute Couture Houses in the early 1900’s. I purchased them from a family member in Europe that had them in storage since WW11. They are wonderful pieces of history that can only add to your crafting projects. These new/old stock buttons have been stored for more than 70 years so time has stood still for them. These beautiful glass gems would add a touch of history and beauty to any project whether it is used for sewing or jewelry. I promise you the pictures do not do them justice.
