Description: 2021 aged relic SH8-N Seymour Duncan Invader neck pickup with aged mounting screws/springs. It was removed from the bridge position of an HSS aged MJT Stratocaster with very little play time. The pickup is in very good condition for an aged relic part. It is intended to be a neck pickup but is also a great option to use in the bridge position for a lower output situation. I had it paired with 2 Fender Pure Vintage ‘65 pickups that were in the middle and neck positions and the Invader sounded wonderful in the bridge position with the Fender single coil pickups. The Seymour Duncan Invader SH8-N is the same pickup that is used by Fender in the Tom Delonge signature Stratocaster model. Invaders are great sounding pickups with a full range of sound that is a lot more versatile than most people realize. It has appx 14 inches of lead wire and the wiring is currently set up to use for non coil tapping/splitting etc. The single black wire is the lead wire and the bare/green wires would be for grounding. If you did want to use the pickup for coil tapping/splitting etc., you would simply need to cut off the shrink wrap to access the red/white wires. Email any questions. Will ship to the Lower 48 States ONLY!! THANKS!!
