After a run of several consecutive Concours posters in the 1960s and early 1970s, cartoonist Eldon Dedini, of Esquire, New Yorker, and Playboy note, was back to create the fantastical artwork for this 1990 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance original event poster. Signed by Dedini in silver ink. In the foreground, a nattily turned-out couple poses in front of a Rolls-Royce, while behind the car, a multi-cultural, multi-era picnic is in progress, complete with minstrels and muses. In very good condition with several light handling dimples. Two of these broke through the inkone in the dark figure to the left side of the image and one in the gentleman's hat. There are a few light scratches, especially noticeable on the gentleman's black suit. The upper right corner is bent (see photos). These posters are difficult to find in good condition, and this will frame beautifully. Measures approximately 25.5 x 33 (65 cm x 84cm).
