Description: Skeleton Crew is Stephen King’s third collection of short works and/or novellas, featuring some real classics, most notably “The Mist,” which was filmed in 2007 by Frank Darabont (which film famously includes a different, much darker ending). Other really creepy gems here include The Raft, Survivor Type, and Gramma. The Jaunt is a fabulous blending of mid-century science fiction and horror. Survivor Type is a gratuitous exercise in epistolary terror. There are 22 pieces in the collection and not a loser in the bunch. This copy is in good but flawed condition. The major flaws are, first, a leftward lean from having been folded over during reading and second, a small square missing from the top of the front cover. Neither interferes with readability. The interior is clean and unmarked with off-white pages. See photos for details.
