Description: This wood piece shown is an authentic piece of the original Goonies House located in Astoria, OR. This is the house known as the "Walsh House" in which many iconic scenes were actually filmed at during the 1985 timeless classic movie, The Goonies. The wood was personally obtained in 2003 (with permission of the owners) during a reconstruction project. During this project, the original siding and porch area was removed due to rotting. These pieces of wood are 100% Guaranteed to be authentic and come with full certification. Many fans of The Goonies display these pieces in a shadow box, or on a stand, etc. In addition, other fans have used these pieces of wood as "blanks" to turn them into super nice pens, knife handles, etc. The wood pieces are high quality with the rotting pieces removed. In other words, you will not receive a piece with rotting in it. I have two separate listings for these wood pieces...this listing is for a SMALLER PIECE, as shown. I have been asked by many for a smaller sized, less expensive piece and that is what this is. It comes with the same style COA and is good quality. Lastly, a portion of the proceeds will go to the The Goodtimes Project...a wonderful charity in which my personal family will always cherish and forever be grateful for. They provide getaways and camps for kids (and their families) battling childhood cancer in the Pacific Northwest. **** I SHIP SAME DAY AS PAYMENT IS MADE!!!! ****
