Description: SOIL MOIST GRANULES PLUSSoil Moist Plus is a water retention polymer blended with an 8-9 month timed release fertilizer. Soil Moist Plus absorbs water similar to a sponge. When placed in the soil, it will soften and swell when water is added and absorbed. It captures water that would normally percolate through the soil. When the soil begins to dry, the product will release stored water and nutrients to the soil. Using the chart, premix the proper amount of Soil Moist Plus with potting soil. 2. Place the mixture in lower part of the pot. Do not place in top 2” of soil. 3. After planting, water liberally to allow granules to absorb maximum amount of water. For Existing Pots: 1. Gently make holes in the soil with a pencil or similar object deep enough to get near plant roots, but away from the center to avoid root damage. 2. Add the proper amount of Soil Moist Plus shown in the chart, placing equal amounts in the holes. 3. Cover holes with soil and water thoroughly.For Gardens and Outdoor Use: 1. Work Soil Moist Plus into the soil so that existing plant roots come close to the product. Use at a rate of 1-1/2 oz. per six foot row. 2. FLOWER BEDS & GARDENS: Apply 1-1/2 pounds per 100 square feet of ground area. Spread the polymer and work into the soil at a depth of 3-4 inches. Or sprinkle a small amount (1/2 tsp) in the plant hole. Plant and cover with soil. Water liberally. 3. TREES & SHRUBS: Use 3 oz. per diameter-inch of tree or per one foot of root ball. Mix at root level in the planting hole and with backfill. Do not amend top 2 inches with polymer. Water liberally. 4.
