Very rare artifact from early "digital" camera history, this Still Video Camera (SVC) is generally believed to be among the first production models within the professional still video camera market. This one, retired from service for almost 35 years, is in remarkably fine condition and would make an amazing addition to an early digital camera collection. Showing just a few signs of actual use, appears to be in perfect operating condition (see actual photos using Canon RT-791 and Sony monitor), is sold with new disks and the user/service manual . The included battery pack will accept virtually any double-A battery - was tested using NiMH rechargeable. Because of the vintage status it is being sold as is with no return accepted.
