Spider-Man Movie Poster RECALLED Twin Towers REPRINT 2002 *Hollywood Posters*

Description: This auction is a REPRINT of the advance one sheet movie poster for Spider-Man from 2002 starring Tobey Maguire, Willem Dafoe, Kirsten Dunst, James Franco, Cliff Robertson, Rosemary Harris, JK Simmons and Stan Lee. Directed by Sam Rami. The poster is rolled, in very good, double sided, never used condition. This is a REPRINT of the original RECALLED movie poster that shows the reflection of the twin towers in Spider-Man's eye. I bought this poster in 2002 at the time the movie was about to be released. I bought it from a company that sent me an email stating they had acquired several copies of the original RECALLED poster and were making them available to certain of their customers. When I received it, I put it away. About a year later, information was released to collectors that the RECALLED Spider-Man had been reproduced and sold as originals. I measured my poster and realized I had the reprint as the original measures 26 3/4" x 39 3/4" and this copy was 26 5/8" x 39 3/4". One of the ways to tell is that along the left side of the poster, if you look down into the artwork, there is a small car that is on the street. In the original you see most of the car, but in the reprint you only see a fraction of the car. I've included closeups of the original and this reprint. The poster is very well made and the colors are vibrant and the design is great and a fraction of the price of the original. If you didn't know the difference and you put this REPRINT next to an original, you couldn't tell the difference. It's the same glossy finish on the face.
