Description: This handsome Nutcracker stands 15" tall. He was made in West Germany by the Steinbach Company in 1983. He is called "Hermann The Cheruscan" after a Cheruscan Prince who lead an alliance of Germania tribes to defeat Roman Empire troops in the Battle of the Teutoburg Forest in 9AD. He was also called "Arminius". This Nutcracker holds a shield in one hand and a sword in the other. His arms pivot up and down together. He has faux fur trim. While he is a Nutcracker he is not Christmas themed. You can enjoy him all year. Height: 15" No chips or cracks. His finish is in good condition. His sword is attached by what looks like a wire of some sort and does move slightly. See last 3 photos. See photos for condition details.
