Description: A beautiful and exquisitely gilded armorial plate from Royal Worcester in excellent undamaged condition. The Latin inscription on the coat of arms translates roughly as “to whom do you trust”. The reticulation is finely executed and I like that the border has different botanical specimens in each panel rather than repeating. The plate measures 23cm in diameter. No wear whatsoever to the face, it looks to have never been used. Date letter for 1883.
