Stunning porcelain tween, great expression 18” Leonardo Coll. by Westminster EUC

Description: Wondrous looking little porcelain girl, 18”, Leonardo Coll. by Westminster, EUC. Please note, the staunchest of doll collector's lean towards a doll having to be 50 years old to be considered vintage, 100 to be antique. Others do not agree. You make the call, the doll is over 20 years old. Desc: Large porcelain girl with an absolutely adorable expression. She has massive red curls that go down her back, thick bangs and a pouf on the top of her head. Her eyes are green, she wears a bit of blush and her lipstick shade is a beautiful rose color. Her head has a little tilt to the right that helps secure the expression of her face. She is in a beautiful cream-colored, high-necked flouncy dress. The dress looks high-waisted but really is not. It is comprised of rows and rows of sheer lace trim that is attached to a cotton underlying dress. The first layer, however, is regular white lace and is accented with a large pink rose with cream satin ribbons. There is a white lace net underskirt, off-white cotton pantaloons, textured stockings and lovely cream-colored leather Mary Janes with a string ties and accented with cream-colored roses. She has a logo printed on the back of her neck that reads “Westminster” and has a symbol beneath it. She comes with her own basic, metal stand. Her COA lists her as being part of “The Leonardo Collection”. Origin: unknown, no markings underneath dress, small mark on her neck. Approx. dimensions: between 18” – 19” high, weighs: 2 lbs. 3.7 oz. Condition/care: It is a beautiful doll in beautiful condition. Her facial expression is priceless! The only thing that I would say is less than perfect is her hair. It still looks good but it is not the same as the day it was purchased. I would not call her hair frizzy by any stretch of the imagination but, it is just not totally in place anymore. But, that does matter, her EXPRESSION is what one wants this doll for, her expression.
