Description: You are looking at a rare black Tag Heuer 980.020 men's 1000 Series Professional watch. This watch is a true survivor. I am a watch collector who owns over 500 Tag Heuer watches. I currently have quite a few for sale. It was simply time to clean out the closet. This is a men's size TAG watch with a case size of about 38mm (41mm crown included). The crystal is in excellent condition with a few fine scratches. The back casing is in very good condition with light wear scratching. The bracelet is the stainless steel and gold plated jubilee band. It is in good condition with light wear, scratches, gold wear, and mild stretch. The clasp and surrounding area is in very good condition with light wear scratches and desk rash. The bezel is in very good condition with fine scratches and gold wear. The lume on the hands has some small holes. The hour markers look great. I would rate this survivor as a solid 7 out of 10 in condition. The watch is all original and will fit up to a 7.25 inch wrist. If you need extra links I can sell you some at $75 per link. I have access to them from a local jewelry store. If you need the extra links just let me know immediately after purchase so I can invoice you for them. Check on link availability. It also has the wetsuit extension so larger size wrists can get it on. The bezel turns and clicks in the counter clockwise direction, as it should. This model has a quartz movement and it is 200 meters water resistant. I always recommend having seals tested before wearing in water. I do not recommend wearing these older 1000 models in water.
