Description: Tamron SP 150-600mm f/5-6.3 USD Di Ultra Sonic Drive Telephoto Zoom Lens Model A011 Near Mint Condition The Tamron SP 150-600mm f/5-6.3 Di USD Lens for Sony is an expansive telephoto-zoom lens designed for both full-frame and APS-C-sized image sensors. Its 4x zoom design covers standard telephoto to super telephoto perspectives, making it ideally suited to working with a wide variety of subject matter. This Sony Alpha mount lens will require an adapter for use with Sony E mount bodies. I tested the lens with a Sony LA-EA5 adapter and it works perfectly. (not included) The Tamron SP designation indicates “Super Performance”; their best optical design with premium coatings and high-end elements incorporated for maximum image quality. This Tamron SP super telephoto lens (S/N 0099xx) is in near mint condition. Just a few marks on the tripod foot to note and a very tiny chip on the barrel at the leading edge of the zoom grip (Photo #6). Minor stuff - with casual observation, you’d think the lens was brand new. Optically, there is a small area with a couple of small coating marks near the periphery. There is some dust inside the lens under the front element – normal for these larger lenses where a lot of air circulates while zooming. Neither issue will affect image quality and I only mention them to provide a complete description. There is no fungus or haze internally, and the aperture is snappy and clean. Rear mount is unmarked and clean. Both original caps and hood included. A USM (Ultrasonic Silent Drive) autofocus motor provides quick and precise focusing performance, with high torque, low response times, and quiet operation to benefit both still and video applications. Additionally, a full-time manual focus mechanism enables manual fine-tuning of focus at any point, even when the AF system is engaged. The optical design integrates three low dispersion (LD) elements within its construction to minimize optical aberrations throughout the zoom range, particularly at the longer focal length positions. Individual elements also feature an eBAND (Extended Bandwidth & Angular Dependency) coating, as well as a conventional BBAR (Broad-Band Anti-Reflection) coating, in order to reduce lens flare and ghosting to produce more contrast-rich and color-neutral imagery.
