This adapter can connect a vintage Apple PowerBook with an HDI-30 SCSI jack to the male end of a standard Apple DB-25 SCSI cable. The DB-25 connector was standard on almost all desktop Macs that have built-in SCSI, and cables with a DB-25 connector on the Mac end were used on many external SCSI disk drives and other devices during the PowerBook era. This is a fancier version than most of these adapters, with an on/off switch and an indicator light. This adapter was tested to work on a PowerBook 180 connected to a SyQuest SCSI drive.
