Raised banding and full gilt decorations to spines, full gilt page edges. Previous owners gilt stamped name to endpapers. In very good condition. Stunning fine leather bindings by Bumpus. Slight rubbing to bottom edge of spine on Bible. Gilt name stamped to endpapers “Pamela Anne Marris Nov. 24, 1923.” Endpapers with some moderate dark foxing in both volumes. Inside pages all very clean and tight. Some minor foxing to outer page edges, some small minor spots to pages. Index to Atlas plates foxed at rear of bible, and similar foxing to edges of pages in Book of Common Prayer. Some loose ephemera inside (4 religious cards and one photograph.) Else a very good clean and tight copies in stunning fine bindings. (1158 + 348pp) & (696 + 592pp).
