Trent Richardson is a former All-American running back for the Alabama Crimson Tide. He was a member of both the 2009 and 2011 National Championship teams at Alabama. In Trent's freshman season he rushed for 109 yards and scored two touchdowns in the BCS Championship Game against Texas. In his first two seasons at Alabama, Trent had shared the backfield with Heisman Trophy winner Mark Ingram. In 2011, after Ingram had joined the NFL, Trent proceeded to have one of the great individual seasons in the glorious Alabama football history. Trent ran for 1740 yards breaking Ingram's Alabama record and he scored 24 total touchdowns which tied Shaun Alexander's SEC record. He ran for 96 yards in another BCS Championship win and won the Doak Walker Award and finished 3rd in the Heisman Trophy voting. Trent passed on his senior season and was the third pick of the 2012 NFL Draft by the Cleveland Browns. After having suffering a torn meniscus in the BCS Championship Game against LSU, Trent stunningly under-performed expectations in the NFL lasting only three seasons with the Browns and Indianapolis Colts. He is still playing football for Caudillos de Chihuahua in the Mexican Football League.
