Two printed, flat card stock mounts; one captioned in negative, the other with old manuscript caption on verso; very good. Scenes of Black American life in Florida from two stereoview series: “American Scenery, Tourists’ Series” and “America Illustrated, Tropical Series.” The first, captioned “8. Uncle Bob, His Turnout. Fla.,” shows a man in the back of a two-wheeled, ox-drawn cart, a small boy riding on the back. Standing in front are two older boys posing for the camera, a one-story building with a portico behind them with a woman standing at the door. The second stereoview shows a woman and child near the head of a landing with a dock. Behind them is a clapboard cabin and several wooden outbuildings outside of which stand a mixed race group.
