Topps produced special sketch cards for Cobb, Robinson, and Ruth, leaving an open space on the back to the right of the MLB logo, where all other 2009 Topps sketch cards had the MLB Players logo. On certain Topps Mantle sketch cards, the number 7 is in that space, with Topps perhaps planning to have Robinson’s 42 and Ruth’s 3 there; Cobb had no jersey number. Glad to answer any questions.
