Description: Item & Condition: This auction is for one pipe. The Unsmoked SASIENI TWO DOT is a rare and collectible piece from one of Britain's most respected pipe manufacturers. Sasieni, founded in London in 1919 by Joel Sasieni, quickly gained a reputation for producing high-quality pipes that rivaled even the renowned Dunhill brand. The Two Dot line, though less common than the famous Four Dot series, represents Sasieni's commitment to quality across their range. The briar was "double cured" just as the four dot series meaning they cured and seasoned the briar by baking it in large ovens for up to 6 weeks! The pieces that survived this intense process were made into amazing smoking pipes. The Two Dot designation, visible on the stem, indicates a pipe of very good quality, though not quite at the premium level of the Four Dot series. The Two Dot was only made for a very short time making these reasonably hard to find, especially unsmoked. The pipe's unsmoked condition allows you to appreciate its original finish and form, just as it left the Sasieni workshop. No issues to note. I spend hours cleaning the inside of your pipe for you with Everclear only (No bleach, Oxyclean, murphy's soap, or other harsh cleaners). I use a pipe retort, pipe cleaners and, if necessary (rarely), an ozone chamber to remove every last scent and ghost.
