Description: This is an Acterna/JDSU/ViaviOne Expert tester for coaxial cable communications diagnostics. These are used for installation, diagnosis and testing of Coax and other communication lines used for data and video transfer.Unit is in good condition with scuffs, marks, scratches and wear from normal use, storage and transport. I let the unit charge for a couple of hours (battery charging LED went from RED to GREEN when done) and was able to power the meter on and navigate through various menus/screens. I did some basic tests and all seems to be working well. There are a bunch of options installed (listed below) on the meter as well. It appears the unit was manufactured in 2017 and calibration is dated in 2017 as well, calibration is not assumed or warranted.Please note that this unit comes with a rechargeable battery, the battery is used and sold with no guarantees on battery life or longevity. During my testing the unit was able to operate on battery power alone with no issues.
