Description: 10 original Chieu Hoi USGI Plastic Bags made for use with rifle magazine. The bags are are dated 4-70. At the bottom of each bag is a metal strip and when the magazine is placed inside this bag it can then be sealed up with the metal strip so that no moisture can get inside. The Chieu Hoi program was when a NVA soldier "came-across" to our side, so to speak. Open arms in Vietnamese. A program to encourage defectors from Viet Cong and NVA in 1969-70 in South Vietnam. Possession of a leaflet was supposed to guarantee safe passage for the defector or so it says. Instructions were to put your mags in it, roll up the end and seal with the lead strip. When needed, just snap/rip off the top and pull out your lifesaver and drop the bag on the ground.I have been using these for a couple of years, leaving them at the local range just for amusement. No defectors as of yet. The blue electronic relay board is in some of them just to show size, etc and is NOT included. EBAY killed my previous listing saying it violated their rules. THIS IS JUST 10 EMPTY PLASTIC BAGS - ORIGINAL VIETNAM WAR MEMORABILIA - I have at one time in the past used them for 20 unit magazines -- but last time i said that, ebay canceled the listing as it 'violated their terms' or whatever -- for even mentioning what the intended use was for - to keep a certain item containing 20 units dry when you slogged through paddys, rivers and got drenched in that rain..........
