Vintage 18K HGE Arthur M Anderson Opal Ring, - size 8

Description: Pretty and petit. An oval about 4mm opal is prong set with a tiny rhinestone on the side. I believe the opal is a triple - hints are the coloring, the layers and the dark backing. The ring is size 8 1/4, and a warm gold color. It is marked 18K HE (Heavy Gold Electroplate) and with an "A" in a circle - the hallmark for Arthur M Anderson. The back of the band is worn, but the face look very good. Arthur M Anderson made jewelry (mostly costume) starting in the 1930s. They were based in Joliet IL RG-017 Opals are the October birthstone and gemstone for 18th and 34th anniversary
