Description: Vintage 1940s Candlelight Satin + Lace Wedding Dress Bridal Gown Please see video so you can see how the dress moves. This dress was soaked / hand laundered, but will absolutely need to be pressed / steamed. This will either be shipped in a large polymailer or folded and shipped in a box. Again, it will absolutely need to be pressed / steamed. FEATURES: Button back closure. Tiered ruffles at sides. Collar detailing. Mesh neckline. Built in long train. Pointed sleeves basque waistline COLOR: a champagne ivory. This will obviously change depending on the lighting situation. Notice how the video is different than the NON EDITED still photographs due to different lightings. WOUNDS FROM TIME: The mesh neckline has several small holes. See photos. Absolutely wearable as is, but look at photos. May want to reinforce at some point. The buttons - surprisingly - are not in bad shape (buttons needing to be replaced is common for dresses of this era) Some marks and small spots mainly near the hem (I noticed a mark/scuff on the back of the collar as well). See photos. Imo, most of the marks and spots sort of get lost in both the sheen of the satin fabric and in the sheer amount of fabric. Make your own best judgment call, however. There is - of note - a slightly yellow stain a little larger than a quarter (again, imo not very noticeable due to the sheen) on the back of the train. See photo. I am 5’2” and at the time of the video, I weighed 100 pounds.
