Description: Vintage 1940s Chrome Cabin Cruiser Nautical BOAT TROPHY, Marble Base Click images to enlarge Description VINTAGE BOAT TROPHY Kitschy and fun vintage 1940s or 1950s tall boat trophy measuring almost 12" in height. Featuring a ground and polished Carrara marble base with beveled front for adding a name or date, topper is a die cast metal cabin cruiser with inboard motor canted a bit to mimic speed with waves cresting the sides -- note the stylized fan design where it meets the column. Flared stand is covered in ribbed plastic, with a chromed connector that meets the marble base. Bearing a BASE MARBLE MADE IN ITALY GENUINE CARRARA foil label on the side as well as CLEARLITE TROPHIES ~ BORBA MFG. CO. SSF., CA label on the base, condition is very nice - there is a bit of color change to the plastic ribbing as shown, a tiny nip off the bottom front corner of the marble and a hint of patination to the trophy top (not rust).
