Description: This listing is for a vintage 1957 RCA 12AX7 vacuum tube in its original box. Long black plates with top angled D getter. This tube tests at 54/53 on my TV-7 which is above minimum new spec (49/49). Also tested for shorts and gas. And I popped it in an amp and it sounds great. With that said, it is slightly microphonic when tapped lightly with a pencil’s eraser. This shouldn’t be an issue in most applications, but I want to be as accurate as possible in my description. Guaranteed good. Returns accepted. The label is water soluble and slightly worn from the box sides, previous testing, or slight use. Please handle with care. Thanks!
