Vintage 40s The Griffith Observatory Souvenir Book in excellent clean condition. This item was acquired from the original owner who was somewhat of a popular famous person during the 1930s. He helped build the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco in 1933 and also designed and published the 1939 Worlds Fair Program for The Golden Gate International Exposition, held at San Francisco's Treasure Island. The owner purchased this item at The Griffith Observatory Los Angeles California in the 1940s as a souvenir and had it stored away for close to 84 years. Fantastic detailed historical information on the Griffith Observatory and lots of black and white vintage photos. This souvenir book looks almost like new from decades ago, all pages intact, 57 pages, soft cover, no rips, no tears, no creases, no writing on pages, only some light wear on edges from being stored away for almost 82 years. Don’t pass up this rare vintage find in never used condition, chances on coming across another is not likely. Great addition for your vintage Griffith Observatory, souvenir and Los Angeles California collection. Approx measurements 10 3/8 inches x 7 ¾ inches.
