Vintage Citizen 40-1137 LCD Multi Alarm Digital Watch

Description: Citizen Multi Alarm LCD digital watch. This is an early Citizen alarm model number 40-1137. The unique hexagon shape case is a rare and desirable design. The case has a very solid design in stainless steel with a brushed finish on top and a polished finish on the sides and back. Citizen bracelet has a brushed finish with Citizen marked on the clasp. Features a white dial with black/silver lettering. Design features include 3 side buttons, a center setting button, and screw down back cover. Aside from large time display, features include running seconds, AM/PM indicator, month/date/day of week, 2 alarms, hourly chime, timer, stop watch, and microlight. Dated from 1978. The overall condition of this vintage time piece is very nice. The alarm, timer, and stop watch modes all work, and the watch is keeping good time. The buttons press very smoothly and do not stick. The highly polished and brushed finishing on the case is nice. The panel cover (face) has a couple letters that have faded. There are small scratches due to age and use. The condition of the crystal is very good. There are a few small scratches and tiny chips. The LCD display has no missing segments and the numbers are not faded.
