Description: Vintage hand blown and hand painted glass ornament in the shape of a woman or girl. Based on the shape and accents, I am assuming this is a De Carlini ornament.Approximately 5" tall'Long curly pale blonde "hair" with blue grosgrain ribbon Body, or dress, is a light semi-metallic blue (more blue and less "aqua" than it appears in my photos)An "apron" of lace is over the body, with lovely wide lace with a floral design for the skirtArms and legs are painted white (arms have blue sleeves)Legs, painted white to look like stockings, end with lace cuffsPink ribbon sash at her waistBlue eyes, red lips and a hint of pink blush on her cheeksCap is stamped "Made Italy"I suspect this ornament was made to look like Alice in Wonderland but I haven't been able to verify that. There are no issues other than the blonde hair looks messy; it is glued down so not all of it can be brushed. The two ribbons have "folds" from storage. The dark spots you see at the end of each hand are not nearly as noticeable as they appear in my photos; I was surprised to see them in the photos because I hadn't even noticed them earlier. The pontil mark is between the legs; it is hard to see in my photo. The right arm has some blue paint which occurred during production. There are a few spots which appear as marks in my photos but they also occurred during the original hand painting. Please note: The ornament stand/hanger is not included. We did it - we downsized! I still have a few items in a variety of categories left from the move so please check my listings for more "treasures" from our home that sadly we no longer have room to keep. ******************** Authenticity is guaranteed and this item comes from a pet and smoke free home.
