Description: Greetings vintage audio lovers and collectors ! For your consideration is a 15” Triaxiom 3 way loudspeaker made for The Allied Radio Corporation by Goodman’s of England. This speaker is in working condition and tests 14.8 ohms DCR on my Fluke 777 multi-meter. It reproduces music,but has a faint “buzz” similar to static which I have traced to the whizzer cone. The whizzer cone has a very small crack in it and it seems like the glue that holds it in place is deteriorating. The glue around the outside of the spider is deteriorating as well. PLEASE NOTE : THIS SPEAKER WORKS,BUT IT WILL NEED REPAIR IN ORDER TO BE 100% FUNCTIONAL. This item will test as stated upon delivery. Past that,no warranty is promised or implied in any manner.
