Description: Vintage Hercules Cycle & Motor Company B Type 3 Speed 40 Spoke Hole Tour Bike Hub Used Vintage Hercules Cycle & Motor Co. B Type 3 speed Hub, used on Early Hercules 3 Speed Touring Bikes. Hub is used, shows wear, can use some cleaning, most likely needs lubricating, and cone adjustment. Hub appears to be in working order. The 40 Hole B Type Hub came off 3 Speed Hercules Touring Bike and probably Hercules before Raleigh owned them. The Hub comes with a 146mm axle and has approximately 113mm spacing, different spacing is achieved with washers / spacers. The Hub looks like a Sturmey Archer AW Hub and probably can use AW Parts as there were allot of AW copy's made back in the day. Hub is in AS IS Condition as removed, I don't work these hubs, but also don't see them not working very often. A cleaning and lubrication usually fully revives them for long service.
