Description: Estate find of this vintage signed framed & matted picture of “Gloucester Harbor Dockside” by James King Bonnar. It is signed Jas K Bonnar. Upon research: Active in the North Shore, Newton, and Rockport, Massachusetts art associations, James Bonnar was known for his murals in private homes and institutions as well as his autumn and winter harbor and marine paintings of Vermont and New Hampshire. 1885-1961.Not sure when this was done but he died in 1961. Frame is a blue gray color and somewhat distressed. Wood with a hanger in back. Right upper corner has a little separation on frame. See pic. Beige mat has some discoloration specks on it due to age. Glass front. Measures 20.25 x 17”. Also listed is another one of his prints a little smaller. Will be shipped ups or usps depending on cost. Not sure the age but in vintage cond. Lots of vtg listed.
