Description: These wonderful hand-made wheat-straw eggs have multipurpore. The are both decorative and functional as ornaments but also containers for small gift items. The wheat-straw is died and dried. Then cut into shapes or strips and applied to light weight egg shaped container. Red soft fabric is pressed into the interior. The dry straw is placed in designs around the egg shape. The designs are floral, striped, circles and geometric shapes. These are very special vintage decorations. Beautiful in a bowl or they have yellow-gold cording extending from the top of each egg for hanging.
