From my research this item appears to be a Vintage Le Pere Pottery USA Monkey Salt Pepper Shakers Cream w Gold Gilding.The Le Pere Pottery company was in business in America from 1936 - 1961. They were known for their artistic ceramics and hand decorated cast wears usually gilded with gold or copper accents. This pair of monkey salt and pepper shakers are cream in color and are gilded in gold which suits any table. The pair are missing both of their cork stoppers. These are a vintage pair and may show normal age and wear signs. There is one small area on one shaker where gold on back of cap looks a bit worn(pictured). But for the most part ... these lil guys are in pretty good used condition for their age. They measure approximately 2.75" tall x 1" wide and weigh approximately 1.8 oz together.
