After smooth winding it needs to be moved left and right to start. It may run for a minute, 30 min or a few hours. When stopped, moving left and right a few times will start the watch again. I do not know what is wrong but I am sure watch repair person will identify problem and fix it. Face - very good. Very nice hands - good. Crystal has scratches.
