Description: VINTAGE MERCURY GLASS CANDY?RING HINGED BOX CHRISTMAS ORNAMENT w/a TINY HEART & LOL CIRCLE, I believe this mercury glass but I am not sure, you can see the shadow of your finger if you open it and put your finger near, It is nearly 2.5" across, the out side is all silver tone decorated with rhinestones' and what looks like it may have been Mica dust, but that has turned to a slight black color and the change to me has enhanced the over all look of the design, It has the round hinged rim with a tiny flower to open it. The inside looks as if it has been splattered with Gold tones and this shows thru to the outside adding more detailed look to the pattern. The inside has a silver tone tiny heart with the cross on one side and the Christian fish symbol and a tiny little circle that has LOL. This would make a great place to put an engagement ring in and propose when you take it off the tree. It has jute for a hanger This is a little bit of a tear drop on the botton I describe everything to the best of my ability but in no way consider myself an expert so my opinion may not be the same as yours.
