Description: A Mexican folk art train and three carriages in the Barro Betus style attributed to Candelario Medrano (1918 - 1986) Santa Cruz de las Huertas.Plenty of passengers included - made of painted clay and attached with wire, they can be removed for safe shipping. exact age unknown, estimated to be late 1970s Very good vintage condition - A bit dusty and there are a few very light bumps and minor chips here and there - one or two of the passengers have small chips and losses. The orange carriage with blue roof has an old crack at the base, between the wheels. It has been repaired fairly well, feels solid and displays nicely as its only really noticeable from underneath.Engine - approximately 10" x 9" x 5" two middle carriages approx. 8" x 6" x 5" back carriage with handle approx. 9" x 6" x 5" The figures are appoximately 2" tall - there's 21 of them.
