Vintage MILLERS FORGE Advertising Display Case for Scissors Clippers Tweezers

Description: MANUFACTURER/BRAND: Millers Forge ITEM: Vintage “Millers Forge” Advertising Display Case for Scissors Clippers Tweezers, and other personal care items. MARKINGS: “Millers Forge” across the top of the top hinged display panel. SIZE: Main three-drawer unit: 18 1/4" wide x 11 1/4" deep x 7 1/2" tall. The top hinged panel is 18 1/4" wide x 13 5/8" deep x 1 5/8" thick. When turned up on an angle, the unit is 19” tall. When the front panel is turned straight up, the overall unit is 21 1/4" tall. MATERIAL/DESCRIPTION: This is an authentic, vintage Millers Forge solid blonde wood display case with a hinged glass top (the glass is broken and missing, but the slot remains for it) over a display area that had a panel (not present) that detailed the products contained in the three drawers (I have made a picture, the last picture in the listing, of a product panel in another display that probably matched the one that was in this unit at one time; this blue panel pictured is not a part of this auction). This hinged top works like an easel, in that there is a fold-down wire loop and indention in the top of the bottom unit where the top can be displayed on a slant, or angle. This top could also be turned straight up to stand vertical if the owner desired such. There are three drawers in the unit below, each drawer divided a different way to hold the original inventory of scissors, clippers, tweezers, and other personal care items (no merchandise present; empty compartments). (Please supersize the pictures to evaluate condition and see the various drawer compartments, etc.) The unit was designed so that the glass could be removed by flipping the top/the back bar of the wood frame open to access the product panel. The drawers were designed to slide open from the front for customers and from the back for the salesperson to access or view merchandise. YEAR OF MANUFACTURE: Unknown. CONDITION: The bottom three-drawer unit has very few scars or dings, and nothing is broken or missing. No sissors, clipper, or treezers! The hinged top is missing the glass and product panel, but is otherwise in good condition. (Please supersize the pictures to evaluate condition.) The four screws to attach the top to the hinges present on the bottom unit are not pictured, but are included. PAYMENT: Checkout though the eBay portal, which provides multiple ways to make payment.
