Description: Vintage 'Pig Sticker' Mortice Chisel By Marples - 3/8" Wide- Little Used Please sse the pictures - classic "pig-sticker" chisel by Marples. Size is 3/8" wide and it is 13 1/2" long overall. It looks like this has seen very little use the end has a few light strike marks from a mallet. There are a couple of age relaetd cracks at the base of the handle but the wooden handle is very secure with NO movement at all. The cutting edge is very sharp with NO chips or other issues. I note that there are remnants of the Marples decal on the wooden handle - the Marples"trefoil" mark is also stamped on the metal.
